“The men’s wear industry right now is the very best it’s ever been,” said Gordon Richardson, design director for the U.K.’s Topman. “Men’s wear is a significant growth area and, as such, is a crucial element in our business strategy,” agreed Steve Lawton, men’s wear director at New Look, another British retailer.
