S2A and Tory Burch?

Nylon posts:

Tory Burch teams up with Paris hipster label - will the too-cool masses follow?

At first glance, Tory Burch clothes are thread havens for hot soccer moms and Upper East Side strivers - but take a closer look and those floaty print caftans have a much larger following.

Witness MisShape (and model) Leigh Lezark, who wears her Tory Burch flats everywhere (albeit with the giant T logo blacked out with Sharpie). And the way Lindsay Lohan goes nowhere without a sparkly, threadbare cardigan (again, thanks to Tory).

Now, TB is attempting to cash in on her budding cool cred with a new creative consultant: Surface 2 Air.

The Paris-based label with fans in the art, hip-hop, and scenester world is moving into Tory's studio, with creative director offering himself to Tory as a downtown "guru" for the brand.

Does this mean shredded miniskirts, scuffed Tory Burch sneakers, and smeared TB eyeliner are in the brand's future?
