Michael Cepress

Today I came across Seattle designer, Michael Cepress. I had to say that he has some interesting designs; more artistic that I've seen in most other menswear designers. I'm glad that is creating artwork that is men's fashion (look at his site for more artistic pieces). The designer also offers Custom Menswear Services, Fine Tailoring and Alterations at his studio on Capitol Hill.



An intense interest in the male wardrobe and tailoring traditions has led him to focus on the design and production of menswear, and write extensively on fashion’s relationship to gender and popular culture.

J Crew Manhattan Men's Store

men.style.com wrote about the new J Crew Men's store. Although I'm not a fan of J Crew, I'm a huge fan of the store's decor and aesthetic.



J Crew's "First men's shop, pays tribute to classic American workwear. The 935-square-foot outpost is housed in the former digs of Liquor Store Bar, and retains the feel (if not the drunken good times) of its previous incarnation; the bar and bathrooms are intact, and whiskey bottles adorn its dark wood walls."
